“I'm looking for some fans who have met Kim I can interview and quote in an upcoming biography on Kim I am working on. I'm sure you will agree that such a book is needed. But I need interviews desperately otherwise the biography will be pointless. The form is to explore from different angles her personality, her talent, and her image changes over the years. I can go ahead and review her life and careers myself, which I will do of course, but something important will be conspicuous by its absence.

If you are interested, please let me know as soon as possible so that the flow of the book can come together quickly while I am preparing the structure of it. Thank you.”

I gave up on the internet for a while, too much to do elsewhere.
Still doing the same things, tomorrow we play at a private party for a few thousand people.
Its where I used to be a member of the clay pigeon shooting club
Its the Olympic site for the UK,and we play there for their summer party.
Lots of music and champagne, there are chalets ,campsites and hotels so everyone stays and has a late night.
I see Kim is on a UK tour again,I'm not here when she plays Bournemouth area, but I'm sending my friends.
Just got back from Tenerife and its hotter here, phew!

“The woman's magnetic &once again shows how exceptional she is by turning an out-of tune dated old dirge to a powerful, ball-busting frenetic explosion of surging life. She always been as brilliantly smart & topnotch with cover versions as she is with her own stff. "Putty In Your Hands" is her best ever cover-so much so it's more like an original song-she certainly made it so. I'm SO pissed this carries on the trend of being released nowhere but Germany & they couldn't even appreciate it. Worse, it comes with the last know proper B-side she's ever put to a single & I can't find either anywhere at the moment. Sadly all the Never Say Never songs do not boast her usual quota of 2 deicious B-sides an album. But she's WILD on this show.”

“I'm SO glad Kim got involved in something so all-round pleasing charitywise cos she was never on Bnad Aid, really crippling it, and worse, wasn't there for Live Aid where of course that skank bitch from hell Sadonna use the moment 2 firmly wedge itself in2 the nation's nasty bits. There's a lota cheese around at ANY time of the year these days & I'm being kind with that term. Obligingly funny vid, with Kim a gr8 prize to stuff ur stocking with. Polka dots r a big non-no but it's 1987 and she can do anything. In fact 2 of the best K girls-her & Kirsty MacColl had the 2 best Christmas songs out that year. 10/10 christmas pud of fun this vid-& Pierre, as ever you've one such a wicked job putting this altogether. “Here it is. Case in point, this video is better than the song-the song that one Rashid don't need played at clubs as all act like it's her only one anyway even in her own soddin country! Hello, if I was in a club, I'd be insistin' on 'Touch', 'Salome','Shame'etc. Still, as some have noted, NOT my fave song-how cud it be when the Monarch of Pop beat the hell out of it with at least 100 other songs! Not my fave vid either, but a classy affair, better looking than Duran's debut vid and any other female too, and coolly anarchic. A 9/10 I think. Sad as I am that people can't always know her from the start, at least with Ziezi discoverin' her in'85 meant she wasn't likely 2 b singin'this. Interesting enuf2hear that it closes with"well kids"over"we're kids" but come on, it's this song. Big deal. Now finding out she said"Scarlet" in "Birthday Song", "mould me down 2 size of a rubber ball," in "Putty"-THAT matters in an important song and all 80s ones apart from"Boys" were always more addictive than"Kids". But "Cambodia" wud b the song 2 prove to the world, yes this aint no pop bimbo here&it's not only men that can write and perform songs other than about luv. Finally, Lisa, wot where u thinking? Kim being American? I take it u were 2yrs old so I can excuse it, but nevermind the accent, didn't the possible clues that she didn't look nor come out with the braindead swill of ur turgid, hateful Mariah Carey, Celine Dions, or MOR slushy power ballads the likes of Heart&Starship come out with not get heads up? Equally was she ever promoted past her 1st song? American singers use up their sell-by date fast yet always the Paula Abduls, Tina Turner&Gloria Estefans are allowed 2 churn off 4ever&ever despite having little 2 give. Also Kim doesn't take her clothes off 2 sell records, and for the continent that gave us the worst person evr-Madonna-I do hava lot of loathing. Only Cyndi Lauper, Bangles&Voice Of The Beehive are the truly original woman the US ever gave us from the gr8 80s to here, with a dash of Wilson Phillips&Pat Benatar, and o'course-Stevie Nicks. Pretenders&Jennifer Rush are exempt-I count these as Brits as they do not have a US sound-& r all the better 4 it. Finally, Marc from Pigalle, luv 2meet u, u sound gr8 fun&wot tenacity u have 2 hang out with people who don't dig Queen Wilde. Twits. I heard u got tired of all the musclemen at the Roxy-I'm tired of 'em all looking like butch women. When was the last time I ever saw a REAL man-i.e one with a hairy chest in Kim's vids-they never r. This disturbingly wrong craze of makin'a man deny&hate wot he is started in the 80s sometime&that is 1 of the most repellent things about that decade, along with Madonna, of course. To answer ur question, Marc, Trevor Murrell-her 1st drummer, appearn in "Kids" & a few more of the early 1s is the best looking male, though she never gripped him! Well not on film. Otherwise her brother & Jesse Birdsall from "Hey Mr Heartche" wud b the best. Not a good bunch-more Select the Catch As Catch Can't-yet Another Step in the wrong direction of apparent maleness. All Teases, no Dares, all pleases, no bodyhairs. Still, Never Say Never!”

“Very unexpected and charmingly picturesque result. Charming song-not every 1st release needs 2 be pulse-pounding electric, people-well Kids certainly wasn't. It's a positive song & image, totally belying the internal struggles she was having at that time-& "Time" would be the cool next step. Back Street Joe-named after a gr8 tune from 1 of the gr8tst albums EVER-is spot on about this song & clip. Normally I hate kids, but here, especially as what would unfold in Bosnia over the rest of 1990, they are a sweet & necessary addititon. 10/10, girl.”

“The deadliest number off the safe as houses Love Moves album gets a gothic drenced spinning set worthy of a scene in a torture chamber & it's torture having to put up with this neverending love of waxed chested overpumped steroid freaks that seem to be evry director's idea of masculinity. In fact this song is unique in the way it's her only song 2 my knowledge that has only 1 verse. After the 1st chorus, musical interlude-but then, unlike "Bitter Is Better" there r no more verses, only a middle-eight & choruses then gone. Thank u 4 lengthenin'a gr8 song. That's sense & "You Keep Me Hangin'On" (which is my 1st fave on "Another Step" anyway) is more a classic than masterpieces "House Of Salome", "The Touch", "Words Fell Down", "Shangri-La", "Can You Hear It", "Bladerunner", "Ego", "Wendy Sadd" etc.you get me? & now this song's JUST as classic aswell. “Calnora I would have 2 agree with you-giving out 10s for Kim is as repetetive as Madonna trying to have a point, but Kim shouldn't be so damn good! Teases&Dares was her 3rd perfect 5star album in a row-only Boys, Lucky Guy & bleedn Kids were her least remarkable works thru-out that 80s decade of cool. Ironically those songs are on t 2 albums people most go on about. Doh!&speakn of doh, right again, Cal, about "Suburbs" rudely being passed over as a single-completely right, but then u cud fill a bible with the amount of things Kim nevr got to release-her albums will always b full of'em. “So it's not high excitement, but don't u DARE call it crap. Crap's Madonna @ stop bringing that dated, thieving discoette slag-bimbo up-her 'breakthru@ was Holiday-says it all. Kim did 6 PERFECT album throughout the 80s, even if most of the brill stuff stayed ignored on albums/b-sides but then Kim's never been like Madonna that way and releasing the whole flamin'album. Yes she was depressed at this time, making me appreciate this album more=Love Is followed & was more the ticket. But come on-she doesn't squeal like a dying sheep (Sadonna on Vogue, any1?) or keep takin' her clothes off. She came out of the wicked 80s weaker than Duran, OMD& A-HA did, but as she pretty much whipped all butts thru those 10yrs that maters little. U can't hit a coconut evry time & Close was always gonna be hard to follow, yet ironically, that masterpiece still lacked the sharpness of Teases, the dreamlike mystique of Catch, the dramatic celluloid urgency of acocalyptic Select & the stunning rock & soul hybrids o Another Step. But Close does beat her debut-all long-term stayers shud look 2 do that & best of all-there's no flamin' Kidsn America on it. Yay. Sadly, unlike all her albums, apart from Now7Forever which has none, only 1 song feels like a No.1 on Love Moves-Storm In Our Hearts, the next best is No.6er-Can't Get Enough). But so what? She returned with five No.1s on Love Is&is back as good as ever these days. Yes Time sounds a little unimportant lyrically, but her voice&that musical accompaniment do make it a single-let's face it it's rowdier than It's Here'-but again some1's missing the point here-it was I Can't Say Goodbye they flamin' shouldn't av released over Can'T Get Enough. I Can't Say Goodbye's so middle-aged sickypoos soppy, granny-bad it makes Boys & the wretchedly overrated Kids sound FANTASTIC! ”

“I'd like to comment on one fan's disappointment with Kim repeating certain songs. I certainly would like material done Live that she hasn't done before. However, Classic Hits should be done again as we may hear the best performance of whatever yet. And maturity and experience lends new insights as well.

Straight haired Kim? Sometimes looks wrong, sometimes very stylish. Kim has a tremendous capacity for change, which I take on board, so it doesn't really matter to me what look she has, except that it should be appropiate to the song. If there are images we don't like, looking at them in isolation from the song in terms of her Star history, there are plenty of images to like. We don't own her. She should be allowed to express as she pleases, and if a song's image is wrong, well she made a mistake, in someone's opinion.
For example the only performance of "Born To Be Wild" - Kim looks very pretty, a plus in terms of her gallery photos, but a mistake for the song as she should have looked tougher for it. Here we have a knocking of an image that looks nice, in my opinion, so I don't care about those times when her look doesn't impress me. No woman can impress all the time anyway.”

“O'cors Kim lost out in the show-she always loses out2 crap which is why u lot keep bringn up Sadonna-allo the sluts only got 1 image-that of a blasphemous, dirty, attenion seeking slag-but this is OLD news-like her-bk2 KIM.Gr8 job-my sis says if ud done it in the 1s place, Kim, it wuda tranformd a boring song 2 a sparkler. Ur UK record company sucks as evr. Here, once again, ur as ever the robbed wwinner. dimensional as a flat matchbox.”

Didn't c this release comin'&struk dumb she shot a vid 4"GameOver" & didn't release it at all-shuda closd he album with it. Kim's look happy&sunny& so's the song even if it aint the a4mentioned. Cute vid, evn with the dancin' twats. (Tell that girl in white bikini 2 wear something other than that & a goofy gri, the twat.”

“Psycho: I'll keep my comments here, of course, rather than mess up the ratings. Dancing in the Dark "incredible"? I beg to differ, it's one of the absolutely least interesting songs during her RAK period if you ask me. Very uninspired and run-of-the-mill - thankfully, none of the Wildes were actually behind the creation of the song.”

“Oooooohhhh dangerous!!!! Wouldn't wanna approach her if she'd had a few - she'd prob bottle me!!!
After readin some of these comments I feel like bottlin a few people myself!! DO NOT understand wot evry1's prob is with this song. Its always been my fave on album eva since I 1st heard it bk in 95! (I know, but I'm only 26 so giv me a break bout the belatedness of it all!)
This is a gr8 vid 4 it tho. I always imagined a darkened/bluish rm with a strobe lite - but this is gd! (Mind that fire Kim! U don't look like the type of gal who just happens 2 hav a pair of flame-resistant gloves on ya 24/7!)”

“1stly let's deal with the pointless criticism. By Oct 81, Kim had made the last of her 2 'worst' singles-"Boys" follown "Kids In America"(yes I do mean that last 1-wot is all ur admiration 4 that thing-all it did was introduce 2 the gr8tst female singr evr& then she gve us"Chequered Love"&the girl smashed with evry wickd song that followd, release or not, inc.this 1. JR Ewing, once again I "Shoot2Disable" ur opinion, Caro cudn't b any more girly if she tried pickn out the ballads of "Catch"(thou theyr all luvly o'course,& Calanor ur despicable-around in'83 among sum of her best stuff&u STILL bang on about not likn this incredible song. Well I'm sick of the fact evrythin has 2 b about flamin' "kidsnAmerica, U Came(cut), U KeepMe Hangin'& Chequered Love. I wish I was bashed2death with "Dancin'InDark" 4 xample the way I am with these 1s wen she performs & the few times she on soddin UK radio & its only evr flamin"Kids". Now can I please rate this clip. The vid is gr8, Pieere, 1st time I ever saw the vid-fire is gr8 symblism-bet the "rushin wind kept blowin it against her miii-iind." Ya catch that Caro. U shud, evn if it aint "Sing It Out4Luv." She looks gr8-nice innocent counterpoint 2"Luv Blonde" floozn. But where's the follow=up vid "House Of Salome". Find it Pierre&we will play sweet musics 2gthr"in the heat of the desert, or hands'll beat at the door!" ”

“Psycho: No need to be rude. And this is me being picky, but why not use full words rather than "2day", "2 c", "cud", "4 her"? I can - somewhat - understand it during live chats, but hardly when you're writing a post.
As for Elton, yeah I think he's a bit full of it at times, though the man's obviously produced some very long-lasting songs. Funny enough though, the few ones I actually listen to are covers of his original stuff (e.g. Kate Bush's "Rocket Man" and of course Kim's "Sorry Seems To Be The Hardest Word").
Not arguing with your thoughts on the Select and Catch material though :)”

Elton John's always been bad in this respect. Anyway, luvly 2 c she resuurectd the song-even if it got 2 much 4her. Now cud she please raid her 82&83 album 4 Dream Sequence, Salome, Janine, Action City& so on!”

“Caro, dalin, Kim says anything perfectly-she's not that idiot Annie Lennox u know. Elton John did something right, but this song, again, is only relevant cos Kim covered it. Does it beautifully&her dear old pap matches her-no mean feat. But they shud so release it asa single while we're awaitn a new album.”

Still he never sounded so good&she's so wonderful even without the rehearsals. Bitch Madonna take note-of not only that. ”

I think the only worth this song has is a live performance. That way it is injection with the power & oomph it desperately needs!!!”

“I'm not gonna giv this the full whack cos this song DRIVES ME MAAAAD!!!! & its OTT adulation worldwide. I AM aware it was her launch pad - but woteva!! On its own it is wot it is (I really don't need 2 elaborate here); on the album it sits comfortably beside the rest on the but the likes of You'll Never B So Wrong, Evrythin We Know, Fallin Out & Tunin In Tunin On etc are waay classier & hav mre stayin power). Yes I get the its a bleedin anthem, but then so is Love Blonde!! (Thought that was a no-brainer, as the title would indicate, lol), or Rage to Luv, The 2nd Time, U Keep Me Hangin On blah blah, so that's a moot point 2.
Kim is known as well for her gr8 voice (altho not as much as she should b), but also her dynamic, intoxicatin sensuality & sexiness (I get that, & I'm a girl! A straight one 4 heaven's sake!) but she can't exactly use Kids 2 emphasise that can she?? Even she can't turn that song in2 a raunchy no. no matter how many hips thrusts she givs! Even her ballads hold mre sensual intonations. Its not a sexy song, therefore its not a Kim song, as in the character of the woman she would come 2 embody (& pretty swiftly 2).
Even she must b sick of it now - I know I am! Giv me Bladerunner & Cn You Come Over any time!!!

“Right, I thought I'd havta start tappin off vitriol as soon as I found out dear Kimmie herself didn't like this 4 woteva reason (as well as not likin Catch, the album it came off, v. much either - can we say 'hard 2 soddin plse'??! Grrrr), but NOW I found, havin read the majority of ur comments, that I'm gonna havta aim my poison @ u an all!!!
When I 1st heard this song on the album it really hit me as amazing, yeah that's right, AMAZIN - alright??! -as well as Can You Hear It, Stay Awhile, Love Blonde etc, & 13 yrs later I luv it even mre - esp with wretched opinions like this!!1 Its a brilliant dance track, as soon asthe intro starts & then the beat picks up - its dynamic! R u deaf??! :( & Km's vocals are just incredible on it, as with the rest of Catch. This is my fave song on Catch & the mre u lot (& HRH herself) keep bitchin bout it, the stronger it'll hold. Some of u are complainin bout the lyrics - HOLIDAY anyone?? LIKE A SODDIN VIRGIN - hello??! Anyone home??! & that silly old cow didn't even write them!! Lennox isn't exactly Wordsworth reincarnated is HE??! (& yes, that slight on her sex IS intentional! TrannyAnnie as I call HIM!)
Could we stop nit-pickin when it REALLY ISN'T necessary b4 I blow a fuse! R u her fans or wot??!!”

“YAYE!! The woman's performin it! I LUV this song - eva since I was a littlin' (& I'm nearly 26 now!) so u can imagine just how bummed out I am that she didn't release it!!! & yes, I know, its Love in the Natural Way's B-side, but just cos it is B-side 2 my other favourite on CLOSE don't think that'll pacify me @ all!! Not impressed woman!!
Also, just wanna point out, that as an avid fan of dear Kimberly's (haha), I really do wanna let my point b made - not 2 mention bloody understood - that THIS is the REAL, GENUINE QUEEN OF POP right here, & if I hav 2 SUFFER 1 MRE TIME the tiresome, boring, thieving old SKANK that is Madonna being compared 2 the ULTIMATE QUEEN here WILL hurt a LOT of people (I'm not Psychopath's sister 4 nothin!).
Kimmie, luv ya - now DO another album, release @ LEAST 6 songs off it ALL over 5 mins & I MITE not track u down in a threatening manner!!! ;D”

“It's a total 8/10 guys! Just think Dear Lisa&Pat, without ur suffering, I wouldn't be laughing me damn cocksicles off. I luv it wen artists own songs r usd 2 defend them, but don't b tota girls, unlike slut Madonna, she wears clothes. Ur version of Stranger was gr8 Lisa, I cud date u&Pat's description of the 'evil ibbons' put her up there with any wildlife commentator. REAL fans & as I am unquestionably THE biggest want everything esp.the gr8 ignored-which if aint off an album the year it's out, is everything she's evr done. Damn the woman!”
