“It's been 20 years.. Can't believe it : I attended Kim's concert in Montpellier on March 27, 1985. That was my first meeting with the Princess of Pop and I was nervous. Will I be disappointed ? Will she look at me ? Will she sing my favourite songs? I held on the tour programme and hoped for the best. "How do you do Montpellier ?" she said right before singing "Janine". She looked at me once and it was a "What you're looking at?" look. Probably because my mouth was open like the Tex Avery's wolf. I couldn't talk very well though as I've just had my tonsils taken out. I told her that I was at a vocal school in London to become a professional singer, but had just had my tonsils taken out, hence the husky voice! She was lovely and wished me luck with the singing. ”

“Yeh Gazman, Kims flat in St Johns Wood an exclusive part of London was the venue for this video shoot. The guy is Jesse Birdsall an actor who was very much in demand at the time. We also did a days video filming in a studio with the band and backing singers,but they decided to make it more of a film vibe. Maybe there were hopes that Kim would do some acting ,as many of her later peers have done? MM congratulations on your driving pass. Interesting to hear the varied weather situations. The worst I remember,gigging with Kim was playing in Oulu,Finland,in an ice rink with -25 outdoors and -10 onstage. The poor audience were standing on the ice,but gave a very warm reception. “Yeah Jerzy sometimes I do, but only the ones that are softened up a bit as I think my children are too young to understand the real versions og Andersen's fairytales. They can be very cruel you know. They each have a collection of all Andersen's fairytales given to them at the christening, so when they are a little older we will start reading the real stories to them. Andersen is being celebrated all year and in my daughters kindergarden they are doing one of his fairytales this year, I can't remember what it is called in english but it's the one with soldier and the dogs with eyes as big as teacups, mill wheels, and the round tower in Copenhagen. The weather was varied in Morocco, some very cold evenings but fresh and sunny days, not particular hot though but the break away from work was very,very welcome and we had some great fun and good laughs. It was snowing yesterday in England, but only a light scattering, It's going to be -5 tonight so I'll be wrapping up warm - I'm not use to it being that cold, brrrr :-/ ”
