“Pierre: If "enjoy" means being completely over the moon, then yeah, I would say that I did :D I'll sum it up quickly: I started off by going to the album signing, standing in line for some time and then, of course, mind blanking completely when it was my turn. Everything I had thought I should say vanished in the blink of an eye and I suddenly felt more like a nervous kid back in 1982 rather than a supposedly grown man in 2006. *sighs* Better luck next time, I hope... Well, later in the evening I went to the gig together with Lasse, another Swedish fan. The club didn't hold too many people - I believe that Kim's estimate of around 200 in the crowd sounds about right. After the club's been playing 80s songs for some time (including "Cambodia", whee!), Ricki and the band arrives. Ricki then says that he'd like to introduce everyone to his sister, whereupon Kim somehow (most likely with the help of some burly guards) manages to pass through the crowd to the stage and the gig starts off with "Together We Belong". 100% acoustic and the same can be said about every other song played during the evening. They went on with "You Came", "I Fly", "Baby Obey Me", "Four Letter Word", "Maybe I'm Crazy", "Perfect Girl" and then finally Kids. That's the order Lasse and I believe was used, anyway - I guess both of us were rather taken with Kim, so trivial "details" such as that one can be a little hazy :D Now, just cos it was an unplugged session doesn't mean that it didn't rock - quite the contrary! Kim was bursting with energy and she obviously really enjoyed being there. The guitars and bass were thrashing away, backed by some lively drums, so they all definitely proved that an acoustic session can rock the place quite efficiently! In-between the songs, Kim talked to the audience (which seemed a bit younger than I'd expected) in her natural, charismatic manner, which contributed into making this showcase more personal than I reckon would normally be possible when playing at a large venue. Kim's performance this evening was nothing short of superb - her voice was as great as ever and everything simply sounded perfect (even though Kim and Ricki both pointed out to the audio engineer that they couldn't quite hear themselves). Kim said that it's great to be back. Well, it's certainly great to have you back, Kim, and thanks for a night that I won't forget!”

“Well Lisa, To be honest,the most amazing and thrilling gig for me was aged 18 and playing at a festival in the Roman ampitheatre in Orange in the south of France. It was so exciting and I had a wave of applause after a guitar solo and unfortunately then it degenerated into a mass fight between rival Hells A ngels, but I got to hide under a table with one of my heroes,John Martyn. Apart from that, all of Kim's gigs were amazing for me,I couldn't decide between playing to 100,000 or 1000,I enjoyed them all equaly. For me I suppose was the best when I lived in London and played Wembley Stadium for an unprecedented 7 gigs.Suporting Michael Jackson; with Kim,also David Bowie was an absolute gentleman when we supported him. Lisa I don't know how to pick. I just loved it all. Hi to all my mates here, I actualy never thought Kim would record again, I think you guys keeping the faith helped her to do it . Big love to Kim and you guys. ”

I have all my equipment at www.studiospec.com they can tell you about it if you email their site. The effects unit on Rage to Love is a Yamaha E1010 analogue delay. It made all the wobbly sounds and detunes on the track and also all the slapback echo I used on Love Blonde etc. I don't think it is very expensive at all as it is so old. Cheers, Steve”
