“The Media here are very happy to put Kim in an 80's retro box, and Gardener. On TOTP2 when they showed a clip on her birthday, afterwards the DJ said that no wonder people took up Gardening, referring to her looks again. They couldn't even say that you can catch up Kim Live on the Here And Now Tour next month. So even with the Retro, they prefer more the former Pop Star angle which is mentioned many times in the Press. They don't like survivors, or people with many talents. Remember how Billie Jean King was applauded when she made an error at Wimbledon? They hate people who win all the time. And Kim, the most successful UK solo female Artist in the UK? Well, they would much rather preserve the likes of Madonna and Kylie contriving always to keep their success going even if they are failing. One glance at Sky's video channels tells us quickly the so called Media darlings they like to constantly promote and push in our faces. At the moment, Kim is in a no win situation over here. She is overlooked, insulted, and cleverly shoved aside by deliberate intent.”

To do this I would have to live at their school and only mix with scientologists as other people were living the wrong life. “I never see this stuff,I'm too busy watching cookery programs. Well Hendrix had no weaknesses for me apart from sex and drugs that was his downfall. There are many conspiracy theories surrounding his death and the people who raised them have also died under mysterious circumstances. Carlos was so cool and centred ,no ego,at the end he shook my hand and said he looked forward to us playing together one day. Al Dimeola with whom I toured when just 18 would not look at me or speak for the six week tour.He and Chick Corea were scientologists and we were clearly below them,Lenny White and Stanley Clarke were gems,had a beer and hung out with us. Same goes for John McCloughln,too intense won't be normal just on another plane. Frank Zappa,a lunatic,genius,hated the English after a fan pushed him offstage at the Rainbow Finsbury Park breaking his leg.Also tried his first symphonic project with the LSO and was outraged when they wanted a tea break after six hours.They later sued him and the Musicians Union banned him from using the work and barred him from future UK concerts. Where do I end?They are all lunatics. My firt favourite was Olly Halsall from Patto,played ike a jazz vibes r keyboard player,used to swing from the rafters at gigs still playing and died a broken drug addict in a squat in Spain after beating all comers at gypsy flamenco playing. Glad I'm not that good or I woud worry about my sanity!!!!!!!!!!”

“select mike: yes what a great series that is,also there was a similar one with all the guitar greats playing live,my favourite was jeff beck he was absolutely awesome bending notes like you cant imagine getting some weird sounds,steve his playing reminds me of your style where you don't go for the obvious notes in a guitar solo you tend to feel where a song is going and try not to cut across the flow and put something unique in there. a good example of this was the solo in "message in a bottle" off the gillan japanese album where you just played one note and bent it like crazy instead of doing a speed run say like a trad rock guitarist would do.however with kim wilde the solos were quite sparse and i felt you toned a lot of them down obviously as the songs had pop type hook lines (although they were all brilliant songs dont get me wrong) james todd who i play with at the moment is having a lot of problems with sore fingertips with some of the chords hes playing,in fact he showed me his fingers after a gig and i was quite shocked how they looked there were tram lines in them and they looked very sore,did you ever have this trouble? i remember you mentioned once that your hands were very cut up after playing with gillan.it must have been a welcome break for your fingers playing with kim! karina: was it your pc you were talking about you tease! caro: chris will write his letter tomorrow.i have sent him to his room today as he went on my laptop without permission he will write some in french and some in english to help ambre with her english ”

“What is this sickness????? I had gastro enteritis for a few weeks and everyone had that. I also have another bad thing..,my left hand has been frozen now,for almost a month. Bread contains preservatives like Calcium Propianate which can have side effects like keeping you awake all night. So we need to check ingredients thoroughly. “Sorry Karina,I was not there this week end so couldn't wish you your birthday.French say "il vaut mieux tard que jamais"(it's better late than never) so Happy Birthay and big kisses and hugs to you!! I was off to Toulouse,the Pink Town,the weather was so hot,we feel like we were in Spring,we were in t-shirt. Since I'm a child,everybody talks about my buttoms,I don't why.So,once again,it happened this week-end:we were walking in the streets in Toulouse with my cousin and there were 2 guys and 2 girls behind us who commented my bottoms but they didn't know we could hear them,obviously the guys appreciated my bottoms but the girls say"they're probably not firm!"(I do fast walking 4 times 1h35 per week so I hope they don't know the law of the weithlessness!)and "they're too prominent"(my buttoms look like a half football").My cousin and I wondered why girls need to talk about my bottoms and thought girls can really be not nice between them.These kind of reflexions These girls can say give me complexes.Luckily for me,just after we were walking in the Arabian area and Black young men kindly told me "you have so beautiful bottoms Madam",I would have blessed them and gave a big smile to them,then just after another Arabian young guy had nice words,so I was reassured.I would be very unhappy without men!! ”

In another Indian restaurant the last day,the man had an awful Indian accent and my pronunciation is so French that we were not able to understand each other so I said to Thierry"I give up,speak for me please",they really took us for tourists(but that's what we were)and made us eat lots of different things,it was expensive,we really got rip off!So we say,next time we'll go back to the first Indian restaurant where they were glad to make us discover their meals but the last one can forget us. It was sweet to hear Ambre and Rose speak English even if it was only hello,goodbye,thanks,please,they loved London. Aaah sweet Steve,laws are really not well made in our countries,I'm gonna try to find a country where women can be polygamous so I'll marry you too!!I put all my husband,my children,my friends,my sister,my family on the same first step,I love each one in different ways but each one is very dear and a love affair for me. “hahaha...sorry Steve. No hangover...just too busy. The gig was FANTASTIC. So many lovely people and of course "the perfect fans" in the front row :-) Kim & I sang "KIA" together. A new version Frank made. Sounded like a Stone Temple Pilots kind of version. Kim & Rick loved it a lot :-) Kim said it's the best version she ever heard. And of course this made us all very happy & proud. 2nd song we sang was "Top of the world" as Kim loves this tune a lot. We did it acoustically. Just 2 guitars (Frank & Rick) and me & Kim on vox. I think it sounded great. At the very end of the gig we played "KIA" once more. Catenia, a dear friend of mine that is also a singer, joined us on this one. So it was the 3 of us singing. Too much fun, I tell ya! :-) The audience had a great time and sang as loud as they could...haha...wonderful. I have a lotta pictures and filmed footage. Will share some of it with you real soon. Thanx to all of you that came along and shared this special moment with me. Means the world to me. Mwah, Sab xxx”

My brother-in-law is a clown but when he speaks tongue-in-cheek(French say to talk at the second degree;sometimes it can be 3th or 4th!),he always says things like it was true.We were at the cinema(in French,"Un mari de trop"with Uma Thurman,a film the way girls like)and they know the staff of the cinema,so he just said"I'm with my two wives today",the man looked at Christophe(my brother-in-law)then at my sister and I,we all stayed serious;he was opened-mouth,he couldn't say a word.Finally,Christophe told the man who i am but I said to Christophe oh you shoudn't tell him the truth.Kourou is a bit village so everytime you pass in front of the cinema,this man never stops looking at us intensely now. My sister and I try to stay serious in front of those men but one we're in the car,we have a big laugh and said "do you realize what they said",we take that with much humour.One day,Steve told that in England French are known to be lovers,it's perfectly true,but in French Guyana they take the biscuit!!I reassure my husband,I'm a one man girl! ”

“I have been in Turkey.The question is"which part" really very importante.16 years ago(it was hard time for Armenia,no hits, no lights,almost dead city)my ex husband which one in Armenia now,made decision to do some kind of honeymoon trip with me,the choice was very narrow,cause the boards was still closed,the only place where you can go ease was HAleb,after two ours flight we been there.It was not bad 2 weeks,i liked Christian part of Haleb,the muslem? part was an expected,but exotic for me of those time.And like always with me something had to be happend.instead of going back on plain he persuaded me to take a bass through Turkey to see the earth historically arminian.i really didn't want to go,BUT.we lost the airplane tickets and since that moment i have seen the bas i recognized that i will never forget that trip,Bas was so old,it could be good for museum exposition in pure country,Just after one hour ,fine weather of Syria suddenly changed to cold, very cold and snow.it was march and i was wearing sandals and summer clothes,half of bus was full of luggage ,you been like in storage,After few hours bus stopped ,something was broken.we started frizzing,few man tried to push bus,we really kneaded help,of course nobody had cellfons))) surrounded by mountains and show we had to live bus and go to nearest village by our own foots you cant even imagine what kind of village it was.nobody touch anything since 1900,it has some reason,,,,why,the" hotel "even haven't sheets, toilet was old Asian style,actually without any style)) ,don't know if you ever seen something like this and instead of paper- newspaper.Plus to all i got sick,trying to warm up in front of fair outside i burn part of hair.Caro can you imagine reaction of Turkish man,seeing me there.i was younger and more attractive,they was telling all time:".gorgeous,what are you doing hear?your place Istanbul....Istanbul,maybe my sick and touching look made there hearts softer.they gave me some tablets,"never trust the stranger" doesn't work in that situation.after2 days bass arrived and took us to train.Train was even worst,exactly like in WAR time movie for trasportations of prissioners,or animals Finally after 5 days we been at hom.ei was long time sick.,and long time couldn't forget it,cause i thing i been in Hell. Steve,but i am sure that for you and you family it could be just opposid.just ask where are you going Istanbul really beautiful city and civilized. ”

Talking about war,do you know that a long time ago English and French spent their time to do war to each other,today we love to peacefully have nice time in our respective countries. Don't worry too much for you and your family in Turkey(I don't know if you're in a package tour as it's more secure as it's a very poor country),of course there are places you should not go like in any other countries but I know several persons who went there and were delighted.My sister was offered by her parents-in-law who traveled there,an eye in coloured glass:Turkish say it's a lucky charm and put some everywhere,they call it "the eye". Strange men here,they pick you up without any complexes,my sister told me it was so strong,French call that"faire du rentre dedans",sorry unable to translate but French will understand what I mean :) Anyway,i eat like for,great food,we ate a couscous à la guyanaise,excellent. Time to tan now! ”

I think the men were just more interested in making love and drinking wine.Rather than being heroic fighters. We in the UK had nothing ,terrrible weather ugly women and men,so we had to go to other countries and plunder their cultures to have any kind of a life. I have a very good Belgian friend and he just says,we are the doormat of history,everyone just walks over us.
