“I get very surprised when people who Love Kim Wilde Obviously they have CLOSE & The Very best of 2001..say i love or Don't love you came 2006- its same You Came but little more electro Rockie version/ They didn't change the song much at all, the only thing i can add i love her Vocals better on 2006...However, when i posted on Madonna's forum - 90% of people who have Never heard the song "REaly like the song" i guess it is made for "FRESH EARS"...i know my ears have Corns from YOU CAME or any other remake that is from Kim :). but im Glad she is BACK - lets see what have they done with "Keeeeeeep Me Hangin on " with Nena /Everyone knows its my Personal Favorite song.. of course 7 new songs more to come.”

If this web site has contributed in maintaining the interest in Kim's music while she was away from the business, then it's a good point. Now, to be honest, although I still have tons of material to show, I must admit that I have kind of lost the motivation to update this web site, so I really hope that the new tracks will bring something fresh, as You Came '06 does not appeal me at all.. “Hi everyone, I've not been around as I'm moving house/city and don't have my stuff set up. I think Kims remake is fantastic. I hope for great results for her and the album . So it seems she has a big German involvement with the studios and production and it seems to suit her really well. Lots of happy German fans I hope! I am sorry to hear that there is debate about the site maybe closing,I haven't kept up with the forum. All I know is that Pierre has worked sooo hard for all of this time,huge thanks and massive rounds of applause for that!!! Maybe he has more important things to do . However, as I take it, WTV is quite a lot about Pierre sharing his parts of his personal collection on-line, including many clips, recordings and pics that few might have heard of before. It's his collection of VHS tapes and so forth, often taped by himself, and it wouldn't really make sense that he'd pass that collection over to someone else so that this person would be able to maintain the site, would it? Besides, I am not sure it'd be the same without Pierre's touch, to be honest. This site will always have a special place in my heart and hopefully Pierre will eventually fire it up once again.”

“Mystra: Well, as I've mentioned on other forums (where some certainly have disagreed with me :P), I feel the same about Kim releasing this many revamps. A couple of remakes on the album would have been alright, and could have encouraged those not familiar with Kim's old material to check things out. 6 out of 14 on an album, whereof one is a remix of Cambodia (*sobs quietly*), is too many though. I suspect, however, that this wasn't really Kim's decision and I can only hope that the new versions are good enough and that the 8 new songs will make up for things.”
