Guys, as you may have noticed, the videos from the playlist get a bigger size: 320*240 pixels almost reaches the good old VHS resolution.

Sure, it's certainly less attractive than the DVD format but it's quite an enjoyable size for streaming.

It's the occasion for me and you to upgrade to Real Video 10* in order to obtain a better image quality. I'm interested in how you can afford to play this new bitrate, which requires just a few more resources than before.

Registered users, please post your feedback on this forum rather than by email, as I wouldn't probably be able to answer to each of you individually.

The first video encoded in Real Video 10 is Chequered Love @ Studio3.

Now enjoy the show, and keep in mind that I still have tons of material to show! Bye for now,

Pierre

She's a
Love Blonde!

When two crazy French men and a sexy Polish guy from WTV happen to be in Paris the same day, what do they do?

They hunt down in search of a Love Blonde, of course.

That day, the Love Blonde in question was not the one you'd expect, but certainly as gorgeous and rock'n roll as the one you'd think about. Coming right back from a trip to London, the Australian-born, Japanese-resident, exquisite Lisa (well-known on this site) lit up the Autumn-tinted streets of Paris.

When four WTV addicts eventually meet, well you cannot expect anything else but a great laugh and a wonderful moment.

Take a look at the portfolio!

Thanks guys for a memorable day. We regret that Marc from Pigalle couldn't make it to proceed to a uncensored 2005 remake of the Say You Really Want Me video, but that's another story ;)

Delicious Acronyms for
(not so) Anonymous Wilde-Alcoholics
[i.e. the webmiserablemaster
is talking to you]

After a few excesses based upon good wines and late night parties, it's hard for one to find some sleep, especially when the thermometer displays 29.4°C in the bedroom (click here for Fahrenheit conversion and see why I feel like eating -and drinking so much at the moment), and your partner sleeps like a baby, derisively playing weird, shrill sounds that seem to never want to cease.

Some people would probably use that spare time to do a bit of gym work or (better) watch Channel Shopping on TV and order the latest electronic abdominal exercise belt online to get ready for summer's exhibitions, I do write XML.

Cool, and what exactly is XML, honey?

I can hear you.

Well if you're not a computer geek (I wish you were not, believe me), you don't really need to know what XML is. For the others : XML is a markup language for documents containing structured information.

That sounds great indeed...

C'mon, I know what you want. But I have no footage of Timotei ads to show yet. I tried to film myself scrubbing my back in the shower instead, but some "good" friends of mine told me that it was of no interest. I guess they were true. Lucky you!

Okay, so what?

So XML allows webmasters to automate content delivery, for instance by generating RSS/ATOM feeds that can be aggregated and which people can subscribe to.

What a bore!

Okay, I know, but it's no big deal. So if you're definitely not a computer geek (I pray for that every night), you just don't change your habits. Browse WTV as usual and everything will just go fine.

On the contrary, if you're a hi-tech fan, click on the "Subscribe to Kim Wilde TV Updates feed" orange button on the lower right side of this screen and follow the instructions to incorporate the dynamic list of this site's updates to your news feed reader.

I don't need to know that Kim Wilde TV is updated, I visit the web site every day.
When is Kim Wilde gonna release a new album?

I'm soooo tired!

Hugs,
P.

Lazy
?

Having a look at the picture (here in the South of France with my good friend Dgé -who pretends he was born in 68, whereas everybody knows it is 89 actually, I mean, 1889 of course), one can suppose I am lazy. Well, sometimes. But not always.

A few weeks ago, I set up a pattern of what Kim Wilde TV should become. Then, aside from getting a life, which turned out to be, well, quite successful :) , I've spent a lot of my spare time re-writing the core of WTV.

So here it is, signed, sealed, delivered. Based upon the concept of a portal, the new Kim Wilde TV lays upon fully dynamically -generated pages. It don't want to be too technical (who cares in the end?), but in a few words :

- less intervention from me regarding the design of the site, which means more time to spend on capturing new videos and stuff (and going to the beach hehe)

- pages will display much faster and better on alternative browsers ("vive la différence")

- more flexibility for future evolutions (who said there'd be no future?)

As of today, frames won't be used any longer; it means that every page of the site can be linked to from any other web site. We've discussed this together, Marcel from our favourite web site KimWilde.com will be the first to take benefit of this possibility. Also, the most recent headlines of KimWilde.com will be displayed "live" on WTV's front page. This way, you have no reason to miss one single piece of news concerning Kim.

Finally, the capacity of storage of my servers has been dramatically increased, with still no limitation regarding the bandwidth, so you can expect more audiovisual stuff on here. And less blah blah.. 'cos I'm not good at this.. AS YOU CAN SEE!

Okay guys, time has come for me to prepare new material for showing on WTV, but right now, I've got a very special invitation to honour : Easter, the ideal time for a shared chocolate indigestion in bed! See you soon..

Pierre.

Talking
About
A
Revolution

This is not a revolution, just an evolution: Kim Wilde TV gets a facelift.

I've been re-writing several modules to improve the compatibility of this website with open-source browsers such as FireFox, and most importantly, to get a stronger basis for adding new features in the weeks to come.

The concept of a big, monthly update disappears. From now on, I will add new media "on the fly" (that is, whenever it makes sense, and also whenever I can, and feel like doing it).

As you can see, the Bulletin Board is maintained, but I will use it to communicate with WTV users, for announcements such as this one, or simply whenever I want to talk about the weather, or my sister's new haircut. Mind you, it's not on the front page any longer, so if you're not interested in my sister's looks, you just don't read it ;)

Amongst the future improvements: a user account management, an improved media center and many other goodies. I've got loads of ideas but not that much spare time, so keep in mind that it won't be done overnight. People often tell me "get a life" and that's what I do! And, no, there'll be no edit option for your posts, so watch out for your typos :=)

Cheers everyone!
Pierre.

Our
European
Soul

During this festive season, many people in the world celebrate Christmas in their own tradition and customs. Kim Wilde TV makes no exception: in the forthcoming month, we're gonna travel all around Europe by watching TV performances from most European countries where Kim Wilde used to go to for promoting her records. The videos list will be regularly updated to host previously shown or exclusive footages. Today's additions : Hey Mister Heartache (Montreux Festival), Never Trust A Stranger (Tous A La Une), Four Letter Word (Countdown), You Came (San Remo Festival)and World In Perfect Harmony (Diamond Awards)!

Talking about Europe, and as the Here and Now tour has just begun, it's the perfect occasion for us to recall the time when Kim Wilde and her band were the opening act for Michael Jackson, playing for weeks in all the major big cities stadiums of the continent, packed with audiences of thousands of enthusiastic people, while the Close album was topping the charts.

Watch the video clip for You Came and Kim interviewed backstage, before and after performing.

Happy winter holiday everyone!

Wonder Women
(and we could be
heroines)

Now let's go further with the celebration of Kim Wilde's Teases And Dares album. You may have noticed that the Top 9 videos list has dramatically changed to uniquely gather performances of the 84/85 era.

Some of them have already been aired in the past here on Kim Wilde TV. Others, like The Touch at the Breakfast Show and The Touch at Kanguru, are exclusive stuff. Promotional videos for The Second Time will give you a chance to rememorate that amazing Barbarella-like outfit which was often decried, whereas it was all good fun, just a wink in reference to the female heroines of Marvel Comics.

And as additional goodies, you'll certainly enjoy watching a related interview dated 1984 in which Kim talks about the release of The Second Time videoclip, and listening to an exclusive remix of The Touch by Marcy Marc.

Maybe the spell it's weaving is the way you feel it, too..

The band *was* good
and the song
*did* cut it!

We're about to celebrate the 20th (yes, twen-ti-est!!) anniversary of the release of Kim Wilde's Teases and Dares album. I've been patiently waiting for this moment to finally broadcast the legendary videoclip for Rage To Love, filmed in one single intensive day at the Electric Ballroom in London. The band mimes a live performance of the track in the good old rockabilly style. It was reported that friends of Kim were part of the audience, and Justin Hayward* has a non-singing cameo appearance in this video.

Now let's go live here on Kim Wilde TV with two additional live performances:

- Love Blonde live in Groß Gerau, featuring a beautiful guitar part by Sexy Steve Byrd!

- Cambodia live in Chippenham, with Richard Blanshard on flute; and it's the perfect occasion for you Wilders to learn more about Richard by having a look at his dedicated page in the Guests section.

And as usual, Marc, our talented remixer, joins the party by releasing this excellent semi-instrumental remix of Rage To Love, based upon the 7" and 12" versions. Be-doo-be-doo-be-doo-doo-bop-bop!

* Marty Wilde, his wife Joyce and Justin Hayward formed "The Wilde Three" before Justin joined the Moody Blues.

Touched
(for the very
first time)
updated!

Now let's make a huge step back in time, here on Kim Wilde TV. As our favourite storyteller Steve Byrd has just started evocating Kim's golden years in his serialised autobiography, I thought it was the ideal moment to broadcast the famous First Time Out report that was filmed during Kim's debut tour. A unique chance for you Wilders to plunge into this early 80's mood of enthusiasm by following Kim and her band through their first rehearsals and gigs. See the first part here.

And while we're at it, let's get further by celebrating this certainly underrated single dated 1981, called Water On Glass. Today we have a promotional performance of the song at Musikladen entering the Top 9, plus an excellent remix by Marcy Marc.

Now updated with a promotional performance of Time, for the very first time on Kim Wilde TV. Something so good was worth waiting for!

Another Step
(closer to
knowing you)

How's life Wilders? I guess you're all making the most of August, probably lying on a beach somewhere, clutching the lastest Mary Higgins Clark's novel in your hands, a decent pretext to look around in quest of the sexiest topless bather.. Not your style? Fine, I've got something far more interesting for you. Today, our favourite guitarist Steve Byrd does us the honour of releasing his autobiography here on Kim Wilde TV. This is a unique chance for us to read those "behind the scenes" stories of the last three decades, and the perfect occasion to get to know Steve (aka Nums) more -and let me tell you that he's worth it! The first part is available here, watch this space for further releases.

It seemed obvious that today's addition into the videoclips section would be Another Step, don't blame me for not including this jewel previously, I was just waiting for the proper moment to do it, you know ;)

Finally, would you fancy watching a little Rage To Love performance, for your pleasure only? I'm sure you'll like this one as much as I do.

Now updated with the brand new version of You Have To Learn To Live Alone, revisited by Steve Byrd himself. Thanks Steve for your patience and time, sometimes I wonder if we deserve half of what you do to us!

Let
It
Loose*

This has to be the most pleasant time of the year here in Europe. Due to the summer break and its warm temperatures, people are reacting to the strong controls around them by letting things loosen up a bit, perhaps a little more than they should. Clothes are loose, tempers are loose, passions are loose, and sometimes.. even women are.. now satisfy your voyeuristic tendencies by watching those loose women chat altogether, cause you've been so many to request them!

And if you're not lucky enough to enjoy the pleasures of the beach, well I've got plans for you. Assuming you live near London, you can use your spare time to hunt out those peaceful secret places -see WTV previous issue- helped by the last two clips of Hidden Gardens (episodes 4 & 5). Finally, if you're anywhere else in the world, it's always a good idea to go dancing in the streets. And the perfect occasion to meet a cool cool bloke called Joe. The guy will probably move his shoulder and make you feel you could live again.

*"Let It Loose" is a beautiful song written by Mick Jagger and Keith Richards, released on the Rolling Stones LP "Exile On Main Street" in 1972. See also www.rollingstones.com

Baby's Got
A Secret
(something's coming over)

"There's a forest, a beautiful place
The sun always shines upon your face
And the wind blows away
The troubles inside your mind

You'll find your secret garden
A place that nobody knows
Where you can go"

(Birthday Song - Kim Wilde/Ricki Wilde, 1992)

Secrets are not always within easy reach. You may sometimes not even have an idea where your own secret garden's hiding. Introspection is a good way to start looking for it. Place yourself in a peaceful scene, you will be more likely to succeed in fulfilling your goals. Today Kim Wilde is your guide to those peaceful and hidden places. Watch the episode 1 of London's Hidden Gardens which was broadcast last week on ITV1. While we're at it, enjoy today's addition, Heart Over Mind, filmed in another fantastic landscape back in 1992.

Now updated with Episode 2 and Episode 3 of Hidden Gardens. More to come..

With grateful thanks to Ermine.

The Sun Always Shines
On
(Kim Wilde) TV

Okay, I've been kinda lazy those days. But Spring is here and it's the perfect time to go for a walk and do a little bit of exercise, isn't it? If you're not convinced, you may find your motivation by watching the new footage added into the videoclips section, taken from the '95 soul album 'Now & Forever', called Breakin' Away. Or maybe the nightbird that's in you would rather want to wander around the clubs, Dancing In The Dark, you know. Or both. You choose!

"...and they would make
a
rendezvous."

French poet Paul Eluard once wrote "Il n'y a pas de hasard, il n'y a que des rendez-vous" (there is no chance, there are only meetings). Life, indeed, is full of encounters or missed rendezvous, those uncontrolled events which can dramatically change one's destiny. Take the Wilde family's meeting with producer Mickie Most, back in 1981, for example. It certainly led Kim to her fabulous career.

Todays's addition, Cambodia, tells the story of an airforce's wife, which came to a sad sad ending. Even though Marty's lyrics in this particular song don't leave much space to invention, you can always imagine another reason why they'd never meet again. Or you can extend the story and give it an unexpected, happy, follow-up.

There's something really exciting about art: no-one will ever prevent you from going further; whether you're watching a painting, reading a book or listening to a song, you can always make your imagination work so as the experience lasts longer. And Marcy Marc proves the point by providing this interesting extended version of Cambodia.

Finally, as we're talking about meetings, this site today breaks the frontiers of European countries, as Krasimira from Bulgaria came up with a brand new cover of You Keep Me Hangin'On, on which I've allowed myself to do a few backing vocals. Like a "Première Rencontre"..

You cut me down
for the things you want
(and now it's killing me)

Good things must come to an end sometimes. The Big Kim Wilde's Singles Poll is now over. Today we're celebrating the lucky winner, View From A Bridge, with an extra-rare performance of the song which will certainly surprise some of you, due to its torrid, erotic scenes! Marc is providing another goodie: his own personal dance remix for "View".

I want to congratulate you for having been so many to vote. I'm fully aware that I now am the most hateable person on Earth, having cruelly eliminated most of your favourite singles; the question is: do I really have to jump off the bridge? Your helping hands are more than welcome during this troubled period.

Last minute: Kim Wilde TV is proud to host a brand new fan's creation. Stefan from Germany comes up with a very inventive cover of You Keep Me Hangin'On and thus provides an answer to the essential question: yes, Germans do it better indeed! Welcome aboard Stefan.

Your
True
Colours

Let's explore the past and its changing colours throughout Kim Wilde's career. Today you get the long-awaited videoclip of Kim's debut track, Kids In America, and the famous black and white outfit that most people still associate with her 23 years after. Radically different, watch the energetic It's Here, performed in Germany by Kim wearing a flashy, sexy pink top, or the rain-tinted Storm In Our Hearts, sung live at Camden Lock. Finally, as Spring is here, get prepared for the next holiday with this instrumental mix of Lovers On A Beach.

Your true colours are beautiful, Mrs. Wilde. Like a rainbow.

(dial 26580 if you wanna know me)

Have you ever dreamt of chatting with Kim Wilde over the phone? WTV provides you a unique chance to make your dream come true. C'mon, just follow the instructions. First you have to get the number. Marc kindly gives away a precious tip with this exclusive remix of Kim's debut album track. Got it? Fine. Next you have to promise you'll be a very polite and respectful person, a "good boy" you know (as Deborah Harry would say). Say "This I Swear" (today's addition taken from the Talking Telephone Numbers Brit show) and everything will be okay. Here we go, enjoy the conversation!

Like
A
Prayer

Kim Wilde interviewed for the French magazine 'Best' back in 1986 declared:

"I'm not religious at all, and I'm in no way a mystic either. I'm actually one of the people who think that organised churches, whatever flavour, act as little more than extensions of the powers that be, enabling them to better control peoples private lives. If I found out that a friend of mine was downing loads of pills, having abortions, getting divorced and enjoying sex after every meal, well I wouldn't love her any more for it. But I definitely wouldn't love her any less either. Orgasms come and go, let immortality do the same".

Kim's most intimate faith is and has always been love as the center of her life, and today's addition Love Is Holy proves the point. There are so many times in life when, instead of fighting against each other, we'd rather think of those words, taken from the superb song Heart Over Mind (just added to the Videoclips section): "Say love, say love this time".. probably worth every religion indeed! As usual, I'm closing today's topic with our precious remixer's piece of advice : "Okay guys, say peace, say love, but don't fall in love .. In Hollywood". Thanks Marc! Do Germans do it better? ;-)

[aNy hUMaNs ouT tHeRe?]

Sometimes, here on Kim Wilde TV, you can feel the heat of winds blowing from other times and spaces. I'm not gonna tell you about my first time, am I? Yet you may fancy hearing Kim talk about her Second Time, in her "back-to-the-future" outfit. And if eventually you'd like the journey to take you further, watch out for the Bladerunner! We're only humans, after all, even though we've Never Felt So Alive, thanks to Marc's remixes probably..

Rock
Da
House
(Of Salome)

In the house of WTV, many goodies are waiting for you today. A Love Blonde will warmly greet you, and if you've got that "savoir-faire", well the girl will probably let you show a 20 year-old videoclip of hers, a pure dedication to the blond divas of the 50's. Run with her, and you'll get the story of that antic princess called Salome, then she will hide no secrets from you. Keep in mind that this house calls you.

Feel
Like A
Natural
Woman

Anyone who ever had a heart.. will try and pass through the physical appearance and catch a woman's soul. I've found a pretty nice definition of soul music by Kendra Ross on her official website : “Soul music is music that really comes from the heart and the soul… nothing that’s just cookie cutter or fly by night”. If you think that Kim Wilde is just a good-looking 80's performer, well you'll never be so wrong. But if you try and hunt down her musical influences, if Carol King and Elvis Costello did move you at a time of your life, then maybe you're ready to listen to today's new addition in the most clever way that I expect from you. Signed, Sealed, Deliver is here at last. Also added the videoclip for Love In The Natural Way, and, "naturally", Marc provides an excellent remix for Life And Soul, which closes today's topic.

Crazy
Little
Thing
Called
Love

Love has always been a recurrent theme in Kim Wilde's career. As an illustration, today I'm adding the famous Love Is Holy videoclip which has been requested several times. Second great addition is a very nice performance of I've Got So Much Love, a powerful pop track taken from the Another Step LP. Watch this one and no wonder why it's time for Kim to go back to the roots of her musical influences.. rock'n roll!

Also don't miss Kim's latest interview by Lorraine Kelly on GMTV.

I Saw
Her Face
(In The Back Of A Car)

Child Come Away has to be the darkest single of Kim Wilde's career. There are several interpretations to the lyrics of this very ambiguous Ricky & Marty's song dating from the early eighties, the most probable deals with child abduction.

Today on Kim Wilde TV you get both the videoclip for it, and a French performance sung live over a backing instrumental track. Not forgetting Marc's piece of advice relative to today's topic: Never Trust A Stranger (the Tiger mix)!

Last minute : I just added a personal version of Child Come Away; just an attempt, though..

Keep
Young
And
Beautiful*

This is Kim Wilde TV's deepest wish for all of you in 2004. Of course, a healthy life and a Detox can help (see below on the front page), but personally I think Music is the best therapy we've found so far. That's why we won't change our habits; let me guide you to the new year with the usual firework.

First of all, the long-awaited follow-up to Suburbs Of Moscow at Peter's Pop Show (one of your favourite performances) is here : The Second Time (twenty years already!) interpreted by Kim in her wildest times! Watch it when you're down, no doubt that you'll end up dancing and slipping your sweatshirt off your shoulder, too!

Another goodie for today : one of Kim's masterpieces - the superb videoclip for Who Do You Think You Are - which reminds us to never take life too seriously.

And finally, as the good old hits never seem to die, Marc did a nice Extended Version of Chequered Love for us, very respectful to the mood of the original track. A real treat!

H A P P Y  N E W  Y E A R  E V E R Y O N E !

*"Keep Young And Beautiful" is a wonderful track by Annie Lennox so I felt it was the perfect timing for me to add a nice website dedicated to this successful 80's performer and her former band Eurythmics to the Related Websites

Simply
The
Best
(Wishes)

This year's Here & Now Tour edition (see the pictures below, kindly and freshly provided by Paul) was entitled The Greatest Hits Tour, so how about celebrating the winter holiday here on Kim Wilde TV with OUR Greatest Hits, the clips that turned out to be the most popular since this website was launched, two years ago. You've been asking for them, here they are!
And they come along with a bonus track, one of Kim's smartest interpretations, Gershwin's classic They Can't Take That Away in a very festive mood (and also sexy outfit).

Finally, I've re-encoded the videoclip of Rockin' Around The Christmas Tree in its full version with a high quality, and today you'll be able to see Kim's last year interview about Christmas, taken from her second appearance at Stars In Their Eyes, which seems to be your favourite show.

Of course, the usual playlist will be back and updated in the regular way at the beginning of next year.

..and see the heat of something new.. it's what we've been longing for, for ages. Hopefully 2004 will come with its bunch of surprises. Time for a new album isn't it? I remember when Teases and Dares got released, twenty years ago, with this bombshell outfit and attitude, energetic songs like The Second Time (see the new performance added into the videos chart), Suburbs Of Moscow, Rage To Love.. Okay, that was the splendid eighties. But it's up to you now to make the Y2K's as beautiful, Mrs Wilde. Talent is in your hands, can you doubt it one second or do you need another Here And Now Tour to be convinced? WE NEED NEW STUFF! In the meantime, luckily we've got Marc's remixes and today's addition is the Ultimate Time Mix of Go For It. GO FOR IT, does it make it clear?

It's
A
Sad
Sad
Situation

Today is World AIDS Day. Back in 1987, Kim Wilde performed Elton John's classic Sorry Seems To Be The Hardest Word (today's addition) live with father Marty, for the first time ever, during a charity festival called Stand By Me. Due to the scientific progress, this kind of event unfortunately tends to disappear, whereas five people worldwide still die of AIDS every minute of every day. HIV has hit every corner of the globe, infecting more than 42 million men, women and children, 5 million of them last year alone. The war is not over, please visit www.worldaidsday.org for more information about it.

Going Back
To
My Roots
(Yeah)

Back in 1990, when asked by a French journalist about Love Moves : "Isn't an erotic title paradoxical for a rock'n roll album?", Kim simply replied with her sweetest smile : "Yeah, that's me". Therefore I'm unscrupulously using this title taken from a famous disco standard to announce today's topic related to Elvis Presley ;-) Today you get that fabulous '88 cover of One Night entering Kim Wilde TV video chart, plus a extra rare audio live version of A Big Hunk O'Love dated.. November 27, 1983. The magic never dies I tell ya.. ask the audience of the Here & Now Tour in Australia! And finally, while we're at the roots of Kim's career, I've allowed myself to do a little cover of Words Fell Down (from the '82 Select album), for those of you who couldn't help themselves from crying with my usual ballads.. Last but certainly not least, our two favourite remixers Marc and Rumen provide dance versions of Chaos At The Airport and Stay Awhile, in honour of Kim's Birthday!!!

Do You Know
What It Feels Like
For A Girl

.. singing Kids In America (today's 1st addition - live 2003 at Tobit Afterdark Festival in Auhaus!) twenty-two years after it was released, before always-so-enthusiastic fans? Travelling across the world and being acclaimed by a overheated Australian audience (see 2nd addition : If I Can't Have You at Australian Music Awards back in 1993)? Having had extraordinarily huge hits such as Cambodia (today's videoclip) or You Keep Me Hangin'On? Well it may give some of us a big EGO, it gave Kim Wilde a big HEART!

(Like A Record Baby)

It's getting quite cold out here in good old Europe. Kim Wilde TV suggests you two decent solutions to warm up the atmosphere : on one hand you can buy your ticket and fly to Australia to see Kim Wilde live at the Here and Now Tour in November. Not that easy, right. On the other hand, you can stay home and watch today's new videoclip. Due to the fact that Can't Get Enough wasn't released in many countries, I'm pretty sure that many of you haven't seen this one yet. Light up a candle, or two, or three, turn the volume up, enjoy.. and if you can't get enough, well listen to Marc's 6'36'' remix of this song!

Still can't get enough? Well, I'm afraid I can't do more this time! Individual requests will be examined attentively, though ;-)

A while ago.. I was suggested to use old material in order to produce brand new video edits. As your ideas are always welcome, they often make their way, therefore I'm very happy to introduce you a performance of Million Miles Away that you won't see anywhere else but here on Kim Wilde TV. Just like Marc's new remix for Dream Sequence..

Well when you'll soon discover the new features that I've been working on for Kim Wilde TV, you won't doubt a second. Meanwhile you can listen to this brand new addition, Loved, which definitely marked Kim's comeback into the music business, back in 2001.

Aussie guys and gals, it's time to buy your tickets for the Here And Now tour in November. I've added the concert dates in Australia to the Musicmoz Kim Wilde section.

People who've just discovered Kim Wilde TV regularly ask me if I can re-run certain videos. Although I want to favour exclusive content (a huge stack is waiting -believe me), it may happen that, for some reason, I find it appropriate to do so. Today Marc from Germany is providing a very interesting remix for Hit Him, that's why you get this video back into the Top 9. It's also the occasion for me to add You Keep Me Hangin'On to the Videoclips section, to remind us of this unique Another Step era. There's no doubt that US fans will love it!

We're in the late days of summer and the videoclip for Say You Really Want Me has finally turned back to its short version.. but here on Kim Wilde TV, the pleasure never stops and today we get a live version of the same track. Enjoy!

A message to french people reading this : today, Nena and Kim Wilde's Anyplace, Anywhere, Anytime is due to be released in France; if you'd like to give Kim's new album more chances to exist, it would be a good thing to prove the records companies that it's worth it by buying this single, even if you've got the mp3 running in loop on your computer since several weeks!

Kim's talent is so impressive (watch today's addition Shame Videoclip) that fans from all over the world, who're starving for a new album, just can't stop contributing to Kim Wilde TV. As a proof, see Karl's fabulous artwork, listen to Marc's new remix for Shame, and finally to my own new virtual duet of this splendid 1995 ballad called Hypnotise.

Mister
Steve
Byrd
Rocks!
(continued)

Always described by Kim Wilde as a very precious person, Kim's guitarist and co-writer Steve Byrd (who co-signed Another Step, Hey Mr Heartache plus many other songs -and offered us the most sensational guitar solos during Kim's gigs-) has never ceased playing music, a true commitment which dates back to his early days.

Involved in several successful projects, Steve is currently recording an album with the Mods on which he wrote five original songs, with the intention to restitute the great Mod era's sound. You can listen to an exclusive promo demo of their first single here and I highly encourage you to visit Steve's website for more details about his biography and work.

Last but not least, I cannot resist announcing you that Steve is preparing a real sweet gift for us, exclusive to Kim Wilde TV... Meanwhile we've got a brand new way to celebrate him : today's addition Love Blonde at Hold Tight and Rage To Love Live. Enjoy!

I
CAN
Say
Goodbye
..

..and that's what I do! The old site has died, let's welcome Kim Wilde TV in a faster and more efficient, fully re-designed version, for your pleasure only. I had to take the decision of changing provider due to the impressive amount of visitors lately (let's not forget Kim Wilde's recent success with Nena is the main reason), so I thought it was the perfect timing for a "substantial lifting".

Many more surprises to come in the future.. Thanks for your faithfulness - Pierre

In
The
Summertime

Summer is here for good and traditionally comes with its bunch of sea, sex and sun. Here on Kim Wilde TV we make no exception to the rule. Those of you who're into beautiful girls will enjoy today's new entry; let's travel to Greece and join Kim singing If I Can't Have You with a real horde of babes! The others who'd rather watch sexy guys will be pleased to find Say You Really Want Me -full uncensored version- in the Videoclips section. Finally, when you end up the night with the person of your choice, you'll probably want to play a cool cool song on your stereo while having a drink, or two.. Marc from Germany did a terrific work for you, remixing a very appropriate track from the Now & Forever album, a favourite of mine, called C'mon Love Me. Don't say we're not taking care of you, huh!

By the way, be patient, the surprise I announced a while ago is on its way ;)

Duets
(true, fake, etc.)

You're into duets? Kim Wilde TV is proud to offer you one of the most recent German performances with Nena, plus You Have To Learn To Live Alone sung together by Michel Berger (a talented french composer who regretfully died ten years ago at the age of 44) and Kim Wilde, back in 1990. The third addition is a virtual duet of the latter, re-edited and covered by your servitor!

Can't get enough? Stay tuned!! A big thank for being so numerous everyday here. Pierre

In 1983, Kim Wilde was chosen as the Best Female Artist of the year at the British Phonographic Industry Awards.
So here we are, twenty years later, and let me tell you, the best is yet to come. After a successful comeback, Kim is now recording a new album, planning gigs here and there, designing new gardens, raising children and proving that she still can be one of the sexiest rockchicks on the planet.
What else can you hope for? Okay, okay.. you'd like to see her Dancing In The Dark? Just ask your webmaster!

Note: You Keep Me Hangin'On (Don't Forget Your Toothbrush, UK, 1993) finally leaves the chart after being the most successful video on Kim Wilde TV (see the Archive section).

There's definitely no need to think further. Our recent poll has just confirmed me that you're all interested in watching Kim Wilde's official videoclips. Let's start with the weirdest one of all times : The Touch is a rare video, and also the first one to take place in our new off-chart section, Videoclips.

By the way, as many of you have asked me to introduce still more interactivity on Kim Wilde TV, from now on you'll have the possibility to leave comments on most media that will be included in the future. Thanks a lot for being more and more visitors every day; I'll try my best to keep you satisfied!

Let's get back to the good old times. You Keep Me Hangin'On makes its entrance into the video chart, with a Rythm'n Blues-oriented powerful live performance. Time for us to remember the Supremes' cover that became a huge US success, smashing the hits to the N°1 position.
Fortunately enough, I found myself in NYC in 1987, so I could measure the track impact on everyone there. You'll find a related article in the Highlights section.

Another Step
into
Kim Wilde TV

There's no doubt about the fact that most of you (nearly 80%) are interested in discovering this superb performance for Another Step shot in La Réunion during summer 1987. It enters the Top 9 today, replacing Suburbs Of Moscow Live '94. Apparently, live performances aren't your cup of tea. I may be wrong, so don't hesitate to drop me a line to guide me in the choice of the broadcasting!

Chatting with Voulzy...

This week I've had the chance to chat with Laurent Voulzy over the net. When the topic came to Kim Wilde, Laurent said "She's the sweetest person you could imagine. I really wanted to meet her, and recording the song that I dedicated to her [Les Nuits Sans Kim Wilde, 85] gave us the opportunity to meet for the first time. Since then, we've been talking about working together. Time will tell..."

Love Blonde:
The Final Countdown

Surprisingly, Love Blonde is about to leave the Top 9. Is that the song that's not your favourite, or the blond pinup cliché vehicled by this performance that guided your choice? Keep in mind that she never took it seriously : this Ricky and Marty's song was a tribute to 50's blond movie stars such as Marilyn Monroe, so it implied a bit of appropriate acting. It's not too late to express your opinion about this vid before I take it out.

Suburbs of Moscow leaves the TOP 9 but...

... is replaced by a more recent performance of the same song, like suggested Moon (visit her website at On the cover). C'mon, vote!

Wanted!

Today a U.S. fan requested a live performance for Love is Holy. Check back soon as it'll probably replace the one we've made the last of our sorting!

A few comments...

Thanks to your ratings, our first Top 9 starts profiling. It's a nice and real surprise for me to see Breakin' Away climb at the first position with an average rating of 10(!), as it seemed to me that most people didn't appreciate this track much. Well, we're talking about TV performances, not only music, and it's true that Kim, physically speakin', was at her best. Too bad she did not carry the day then! I encourage you to keep on voting as I won't generally status on a vid destiny (i.e. maintain or exclude it) with less than a certain amount of opinions about it.
