I'm in love with this version... It brings me back in my 80's and it's a strange feeling, a mix of sadness and happyness... Stefan, is it possible to send me the song via email? Does'nt matter if you can't, (but it would be good if you could!) i will still listening to it every morning :)

I don't know why it's not released yet... such a shame!! I really like the funny part at the begfinning & the end, especially. And you don't take yourself 4 too seroius, that's great!!! Good luck !!

The song is so dramatiK on its own that there s no need to add tears and drama, especially when you re a boy ;-) Oh, do boys cry Robert? I thought boys don t cry... I think the "boy you don t really love me" is funny clin d oeil and the laughing voices in the end are there to remember that it s better laughing from it all than crying like a cry baby, booh ooh ooh! Stefan s version is actually full of fun and humour, I imagine that song in a punky gay club with decadent boys on high heels à la second time drinking vodka straight from the bottle!

Funny Dgé... I was about writing exactly the same impression about the "de-Tachment", I think it s even stronger that way and gives the song a taste of second degree, which is not bad at all. Anyway... let s put it that way: I was expecting you to write it! 1 of the reason why I love Françoise Hardy s singing is that detachment, that unique way not giving too much emotions (in other words, the anti Segara... Y a trop d'gens qui t aiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiment et tournent autour de toiiiiiiiiiiiii, errr, you know what I think of it). Throwing it all in the face keeps the listener from building his/her own fantasy out of the song. Instead of that, a distance between the lyrics and the voice is an opened door to the listener s own emotions and I think it counts in the first place!

I can't agree with Calanor. This version is a really good one: the sound, the voice; it brings me back in the early 80's (Depeche Mode, Blancmange 'Happy families') and the 'detachment' as Calanor says suits so well to this song. Go on Stefan. I'd love to hear your new production ( may be VFAB with an engaged sound...)

Well, hearing a fan's version of YKMHO is interesting enough. But you do not sound engaged at all - there is nothing real wrong with your voice, but you sound way too detached here. That would be suitable for View From a Bridge, but not for this tune.

It really sounds like Blanchmange. Very good and I can only envy the people who can play and sing like this.

Stefan, are you playing the keyboard too? Really like the part where you whisper "why don't you find somebody else"

Stefan, it sounds so New Romantic! There was this band called Blancmange in the early/mid 80s and your voice reminds me of them. (They covered ABBAs THE DAY BEFORE YOU CAME around 1983)

Stefan... What a lovely Wilde complaint out of a man s mouth! You ve got an early '80s voice, à la Soft Cell. Maybe you re a new romantiK? ;-))) I like male and female genres to be mixed and this girlish song, sung by you is a flamboyant example of it! Would you like to put us in a trance? I m gonna visit your site 'cause I m curious.

Stefan, i just said you are talentuous with this remix and your voice reminds me Dave Gahan's one on Leave in Silence or See You. Beautiful surprise and welcome. Give us more!

Décidément, les wildonautes ont bien du talent. Kim, tu peux être fière de toi. Ce Stefan, il a un peu la voix du Dave Gahan de See You, Leave in Silence.
