 Yep, German TV this one, not a great track but a high energy performance. Kim looks (dare I say) randy here, fitting the song. :-)

 Hey JR. In fact, I was talking about Kim singing TST in Peter Pop's Show where she danced with no bra under her tee-shirt. There, she looks a bit slutty (but IMO it's not that bad). In the official video for TST, she looks like Joan Collins ! And really that kind of look nowadays is a bit tragic... I mean have you seen her earings ? That astronaut outfit ? Kim herself thought it was hideous, she even wanted to change the Teases & Dares cover... The video for Dancing In The Dark is probably cheaper, but simpler (and simplicity is always the best choice in life), no special effects ( I hate special effects) and Kim looks sexy in a butch way. Now, what would be REALLY FUN next would be to vote for the Worst Single of Kim's. I'm thinking myself "In My Life" or "The Touch" or even "Love is Holy".. What do you think ?

 What, « The Second Time » the best single from Kim ?? Arrr, you must be joking !! Alright, at the time, it sounded new and very sexual, an exciting departure from her then-flagging career. But now, come on.. it’s a stupid song ! Marty was not very inspired : no rhymes and weird lyrics like « don’t start to fumble it up ». Never heard that sentence from anyone else !! Musically, it has dated very quickly (especially the awful computer saxophone), though the remixes are okay. Played live, that song was really bad. And the video ! It’s not even camp, it’s just low-budget and badly directed.. Bad bad choice for a single I must say ! So, please forget that song (and that TV appearance where Kim looks cheap and slutty) PLEASE, DO NOT VOTE ANYMORE FOR IT IN THE SINGLES POLL !! And vote instead for DANCING IN THE DARK : maybe less sophisticated on the dance-floor level, but the song and the video stand the test of time. You've done it once, so come on go again...

 Remember seeing tat show back in early 1985. Sad to say I didn't have a VCR at the time so I couldn't tape it. It was great to see it again. Always loved the power on that track.

 Superb performance full of energy and featuring one of my favourite Wilde songs. Clothes and hairstyle are all very 80's, which is something I definitely do not mind :) Not sure whether or not it's a lip synch, but never mind that - the performance is worth a 10 anyway.

 This video reminds me when I was 18 and eager to see Kim on tour. I was frustrated at that time because I did live in Paris and could not get ticket. The performance is simply excellent and Kim is so gorgeous !

 Good Evening Europe, Hello in America and Australia, I've said it again and again, this is my favourite track, I love it recorded in studio, remixed by Marcy Marc, and (half)live here at Peter's Pop show. Hearing it, i'm thinking that things weren't all that terrible in the eighties. Didn't like the nineties much either, but I think the 'Noughties' ;-)) suit me better. I was thinking about something, which is scary to begin with: Is there any way we could organize a Kim Wilde day, either in Paris or London (or anywhere that's central in Europe, if there is such a thing?) where we could meet, dance, and exchange ideas and memories about what we like regarding Kim's music and voice? I know it sounds a bit heavy to organize, but we could do it at a small scale to begin with, at someone's place for example, or at a pocket-size discotheque a saturday afternoon. Does it sound crazy? Would anyone be interested? Rate this idea on a one to ten ;-) Then the big question is inevitably: who would do it? Could we share the organization of the event? OK, i'll just stop rambling, but it's been on my mind for a week or so...

 for info this performance was in dortmund,germany in the westfalenhalle as part of peters popshow (an annual show with various artists). I was there, 15 years old and kim looked just breathtaking, very much dressed to kill. Really good times back in the 80ies. wonderful to see this performance again.
