10/10. What can I say except what a beautiful woman!! I don't even have to talk about the leather dress, sexier than this,it doesn't exist! Every musician of the band could only think he was the luckier one to be by her side (am I wrong Steve?)!!
Great 80's video. Simple and elegant. Kim Wilde was very hot in those days. Especially in that beautiful leather dress. Leather is excellent when you wear it well, like Kim did. One of the best woman in my schoolboy dreams. Song still sounds quite good after all these years.
Kim's makeup, hair, and clothes are the epitome of glamour, 80's style. I love the song because it's a continuation of old classics like Peggy Lee's "Big Spender" and "Get Out of Here (and Get Me Some Money Too)." Sexy, classy stuff!

Kim carried those boots for years! Seems they were made for walking down the streets, never looking left or right! So sensual wht your second skin Kim... If Posh cries for every new revelation these days, she can be happy her Becks didn t meet you in '83! And Kim, how many times will have to explain you the difference between a man and a car? Well, I guess you know it well and make a great joke about the boys who can t see the difference ;-)))
This has got to be one of my favourite KW videos, though I freely admit that the dress certainly is a major reason for this. *wolfish grin* Still, the video is quite cool and Kimmy's real foxy in it. Love the scene when the whole band is standing together, snapping their fingers - that's just groovy! :) I have to agree with Rashid, though - that part when she sings "Now you see her, now you don't" usually makes me laugh out loud.
i think I loughe everytime i see this video, this attitude girl comes out of the Roles R. Car lol its cool, She has this mean look but its so not Kim Wilde she always likes to act in her videos...I agree with Xtasy Karina's Eyes are like ocean with full of Love, they re beautiful, and they need to be Loved :)Karina What you think of song Loved? (its one of my fav very simple but cool)
Pierre the thing is about Love Blond video looks very real, i don't know maybe the camera or something it looks like she is right in front of you, every little detail you can notice there, wile Say you realy love me =is all video is more blurry more smoky, sexy but it looks like a video, Love Blond is more Real...And YEs she was i think her thinnest, i like Kim little chunky little, like CLOSE album those white or blk pants on her looked amazing.
And i don't understand she didn't go much to the gym, but if you notice her legs, her bottom, her shoulders are very well defined and toned in a nice way...Mhh i think she did spend quite a lot of time in the GYM in 80's :)
Finally this video has been added to this collection! This is one of my favourite Kim Wilde tracks, and now I can say that is one of my favourite videos!
I just love Kim!
My 2 str8 friends had to rewind that moment to, because they were getting little too excited :), its so funny all my highschool mates were talking about that clip,I really don't know a POP star that soo many guys Would realy fantasize about, well in my generation :) at least, LOVE Blond the Video had something very SExy about it, Did you guys notice the Body, I think She has the most beautiful body, and that dress realy shows off, the legs that bottom :), And Lisa that zooming process on her face when she opens up her mouth, even Dentists couldn't figure it out, how is it possible someone to have beatiful even theet, What a SMILE thats what i call MILLION $Smile... and its Natural babie, How about the Attitude she portraits, She looks soo Stock up & Snobby, "Don't you even dare come near me, i am the DIVA just let me pass" LOL
PS by hte way i bought The Best of 80's DVD (Duran, Boy George etc and Kim)in USA few months ago, and Love Blond is on it, Thats the only DVD i owe LOL
Rashid,
My fav "cheesy" part of the
clip is where they do that
close up of Kim singing "yeah" (Zoom in Zoom out), but Kim isn't singing yeah, she's just got her mouth wide open. You had to
be really gorgeous in the 80's to make up for poor video clip technology! Also,
(this is a ladies point of view) no matter how many times I watch this clip, I'm so scared that a boob is going to pop out the side, because the straps on that leather dress are so loose!
I keep thinking no no, while some of the men on this forum are probably thinking yes yes.
"Cha, cha, cha ...." I remember I had been waiting so long for that single to be released ! During the summer, I had kept going back and back to the only record store of the little town I was in on holiday to keep asking same questions : "Have you received Love Blonde from Kim Wilde ?", lol .... As far as I can remember, the single was released a little bit later. Anyway, it brings back so many memories (makes me think I still haven't got the video at home ... yet). At that time, it seems to me nobody (in France) was speaking much about Gary Barnacle, the sax that you can see in her vid. It's not my fave video (no real scenario, Cambodia was much more interesting, or better, Child come away), but I liked the idea. The dress is fun :-)
First i want to say Pierre can you take that ( not great angle shot )interview form GMTV Pic out? It looks like Kim's tired sister, who didn't get enough sleep LOL...Mel & Des was soo much better look, such a Great make up and lighting
TX.. OOPS Back to LOVE Blond, brings soo much memory when i was in high shcool it aird in 87 in Armenia then Russia, everyone said its a NEW video LOL well HELLO, this was 2nd video after You Keep Me Hangin on that i saw, I thought she looked Great, i love the make up, the dress, the part she is going to the car with her DIVA attitude..YES for suure after watching this Video i though BLONDS do have more fun :) She looked Very hot, i think its one of hte Best Videos from EMI
I love this video and Kim looks very sexy, especially in that dress! Lots of make-up and definately plays the blonde bombshell part well. One bit does make me laugh though and that's when she sings 'now you see her, now you don't'. It just looks really cheesy, but then again that just sums up most of the eighties!
