 "Kind hearts don't make a new story, kind hearts don't grab any glory" with that rhyme, Kim caught the awful spirit of the 80's. Marty was a visionary, in a sad way.

 ohh Kids in America what a singiture hit, Yes it was very original her look her song it got her str8 to the Top, but if you ask me, i realy Love and enjoy her look and performance later in 87-2005...My Friend Eiwin i remember told me James Kim got sexier and her songs got much better, but for some reason her popularity went more down i never understood that...songs like Million Miles Away, Who do you think you are, Can't get enough of your love didn't get Far, ill never understand that.

 That's the Princess I fell in love with. I feel like I'm 12 years old all over again... Only Pierre could manage that !

 Really should be working, but can't resist watching this one again. The thing I adore most about this performance, is that it's completely gimmick free; no chorographed dance routine, no pointy bra and head set, no hot-pants and NO tinsel and sparkel. Just a fresh faced girl who has an "affinity" with the camera. Notice in the last still she's standing behind a cardboard cut out in a stripy shirt!

 I give it a ten, because all the magic is here. I'm not opposed to the series of pictures displaying in the background, I think they fit the initial 'da-da-da-da-da' synth very well. Anyway, the music video for Kids '94 uses this concept.

 10, Give it a 10!! She's such a great performer, and I loved this show with stupid Molly and all! My fav child hood program - thanks Pierre! I know this a sensitive topic, but did she or did she not wear bra's back then? Who cares anyway! I'd love to see the rest of this, and hope Kim gets to look back on this! I think she was the first woman to have the mullet hair cut!

 Well, I have to agree that it's a little silly to display pics of indians etc in the background, just because the song happens to be named Kids in America. The performance itself is a rather standard one for early Kim, I suppose, although she certainly looks cool/pouty/cute in her -81 way.

 Err...umm...well...I have to be honest. It's kind of boring, and the changing background is distracting.

 Love it, love it, LOVE IT!! Princess looks awfully good. Now 24 years later, you can see why she became such a hit overnight compared to the female acts at the time : she was a bit gauche, but that look in her eyes.. that "don't bullshit me" attitude.. wow it still works now. Incredible. So is the clip behind Princess, very well edited. It could almost replace the official video ! Merci Pierre pour tout ce bonheur :-)

 Whose absurd idea was to put those "American history" images in the background? And why? Just because the song has "America" in the title? More inventiveness, please! Mind you, that was before Lisa was born, she would have made it look so differently. On the plus side, pouty Kim a la 1981 looks fab.
