This was always such a great song! Great energy, very uplifting. Would be superb live. Great performance (for a lip synch), especially in front of such a passive audience. Pity about the quality of the video recording, but a gem nonetheless.

Kim looks fabulous! She's so bright! She shines on stage!

I really like this song, and she performs it well. In my opinion this song is better than a couple of songs that made the album, especially Missing! It's a shame that some b-sides were only b-sides e.g. Lovers On A Beach and Never Felt So Alive, which I think should have been used instead of In My Life as a single.

Speaking about the bside, this one is not my favorite, but quel exploit to see kim singing this one. She moves a lot, but not like an asticot What a pepite!!!!

This OK song was performed in Germany during the promotion of the single "Schoolgirl", back in the summer of 1986. Kim recorded a lot of tracks for the Another Step LP, but this one was released as the Bside of "Another Step" the single. By the way, "Hold Back" is coproduced by Reinhold Heil, who was then the producer of Nena. Funny what fate can bring you...

Good video for a great song! Her B-sides are usually quality songs like this one for example. I have always loved this song. Kim is the best!!!!

Let's not get carried away
guys. The music sounds like "toto" on a bad day, the vocal though is pretty strong. To me it is pretty clear why it didn't make it to the album!!

I had almost forgot this one... It's great to see Kim performing one of her great B-sides.
I only once saw her perform a B-side, under her Rage to Rock tour in 1985 where she performed 'Putty in your hands'...

I've got a special feeling with that not-so-well-known song. I think it was originally meant to be included on the Another Step LP track listing, but some other songs (including You Keep Me Hangin'On) were written later and replaced it.
