 I really like this video. I can see why some people find it boring but I think it's very.. aesthetically attractive! It's very stylistically pure but still feels very 80's. And it fits the song really well! I mean, compare this to the video for "The Touch", which is just way over the top. With a bit of editing, this video would work just as well today, for a contemporary song, as it did back in '83.

 OK I've said it b4 but I'll GLADLY say it again - this song is fantastic, I've always loved it, still do, & wish u lot would stop bitchin bout it!!! Altho there's not a whole lot goin on in this video, I've seen worse (like those nasty blokes in the Say You Really Want Me vid). I quite like the lighting, like a mass of spider webs. & of course she looks gorgeous as always.

 Oh, Lordie, I truly can say that I hate this video without compromise. I'm not fond of this song as it is, but she looks like she's going for early Gene Loves Jezebel and Aha's roto scoping with "Take On Me." Yuch! Terrible look too!

 Kim always had a unique and special way singing ryhmes in *IRE* and it all started with that great song, 1 year before her first self penned "Shangri La"... I love "Dancing In The Dark" for a few reasons and I think it s 1 of the few Wilde songs where the video is a real support, dancing and moving closer with the ghost in the dark never stopping this wheel of fire... Something s gonna start!

 This never was any of my favourite songs, really - in my opinion, it's probably the weakest track on the whole album. The video is OK, I guess - the setting is a bit too dark, though. However, Kim's of course gorgeous, although I still prefer the Select hairstyle ;)

 I think this video is dark & little misterious, i like it im not crazy about the song...Agreed Xtasi Kim looks very cuddable and cute in her casual jeans. I work a lot last few days im kind of tired i need to take a hot bath and rest...want to check out THIS i Swear video next...Karina oh beautiful Karina My girlfriend for 1 and 1/2 year, I like her a lot, she is not only my girl she is also my friend too, she is very cool about my passion for Kim, She thinks Kim is exceptionall beauty, but i think she has a soft spot Oliver Martinez :)

 Come on Kim, vogue! I think she looks great in this video, very very very sexy. Her hair was nearly white and she still looked like a teenager... I remember her haircut becoming an obsession during that time. She got style, she had grace!

Anyway, guys, please save from the Cruel and Merciless Singles Poll the following singles which might go away : first of all, "Dancing in the Dark". I know, the Wilde team didn't write it, Kim didn't like the song blablabla.. But I happen to love that Nile Rodgers sound. And the video was so cool don't you think ? I can't say the same for "In my life", a rather plain song with poor rhymes. Hmm someone is going to hate me, but "In my life" should have been a B Side, no more. And please guys, vote for Love Blonde too, the best lyrics ever!!

 I never used to like this song, but now I absolutely love it and I listen to it a lot. I wish this video wasn't so dull though. It's a shame because this was the end of the RAK era.

 Great video, never seen it before today! Always great to see new Kim Wilde videos. Her videos were not shown much here in the states. Low budget but still great!

 Catch As Catch Can is one of my favourite albums and Dancing In The Dark is one of my favourite song!

 I have waited 20 years to see this video in whole. Finally it's great. I have loved Kim for 22 years. I wish she was bigger in the US.
