 Right, I thought I'd havta start tappin off vitriol as soon as I found out dear Kimmie herself didn't like this 4 woteva reason (as well as not likin Catch, the album it came off, v. much either - can we say 'hard 2 soddin plse'??! Grrrr), but NOW I found, havin read the majority of ur comments, that I'm gonna havta aim my poison @ u an all!!! When I 1st heard this song on the album it really hit me as amazing, yeah that's right, AMAZIN - alright??! -as well as Can You Hear It, Stay Awhile, Love Blonde etc, & 13 yrs later I luv it even mre - esp with wretched opinions like this!!1 Its a brilliant dance track, as soon asthe intro starts & then the beat picks up - its dynamic! R u deaf??! :( & Km's vocals are just incredible on it, as with the rest of Catch. This is my fave song on Catch & the mre u lot (& HRH herself) keep bitchin bout it, the stronger it'll hold. Some of u are complainin bout the lyrics - HOLIDAY anyone?? LIKE A SODDIN VIRGIN - hello??! Anyone home??! & that silly old cow didn't even write them!! Lennox isn't exactly Wordsworth reincarnated is HE??! (& yes, that slight on her sex IS intentional! TrannyAnnie as I call HIM!) Could we stop nit-pickin when it REALLY ISN'T necessary b4 I blow a fuse! R u her fans or wot??!!

 I don't know why but I've always loved this song! So charming, Kim's performing it with such energy! Way to go, Kimmy!

 Well Guys, I actually don't know how to get really into DITD. I love this performance, even it's a bit cheap, but Kim looks very sweet. The song ´s so la la. I'd choose "Sparks" as the second release of "Catch As Catch Can". Why this song???

 I do not like the camera very much (lol the necklace), but a nice souvenir ........... :)

 I know we all were a lot easier to impress back then, a few red lights, a diamond necklace and some leather and we were all WAUW! - but I still am when it comes to this cool lady. So rough and tough and still so sweet and innoncent as soon as she smiles. Still works for me...

 Alisue.. do you want me to make fun of you ? :-)) i said which songs used the rhymes "heart" and "start", I didn't say which songs used the words "heart" and "start", that would include probably most of her songs lol ! I'm just kiddin' but sometimes Kim's lyrics are a bit poor, especially "Now and Forever".. Ooh I think I'm going to be lynched in NYC ! :-))

 Alisue, have you ever considered becoming a journalist? You have such a flair with words, it's incredible!

 (look at me helping DITD go up in the charts) And you know what Pat ? What if RAK released "Shoot To Disable" as a single ?! Kim would have become instantly a 80's coldwave icon ! NME and Melody Maker would have loved it and considered Kim as a serious artist. Just like Kylie Minogue when she did that duet with Nick Cave. And MCA should have released "Shangri-La" as a single, and on the A Side. "The Touch" was such a disastrous choice !

 I know, she said she didn't like the song. But on this appearance, she seemed to enjoy it. Maybe she made fun of it, didn't take it seriously. After all, who can when you have to sing "sweet romancing, something's gonna start"? Well, a few years later, she sang that splendid ridiculous line "it's cold in the streets, there's a cold in her nose". You're right, "Stay awhile" could've been a massive hit, though her band made a bad rendition of the song live.

 This song stands the test of time. Yes, it's a great song, similar to the songs Madonna recorded for her first album (and to my opinion, her best one). And Kim seemed to enjoy performing it, over and over and over and over. Nile Rodgers made a great job remixing it. I love the gimmicks, the male backing vocals, the sax.. The original version (or was it a cover ?) by Tony something (Sherman ?) was great too, very El Debarge-esque.

 Never liked this song much, perhaps because it marked her departure from the moody image of the Select period, which I adored, and saw her transform into a disco diva, which was a mistake in my view. Besides, it wasn't a Wilde-team song, and it shows. But there's no denying she looks absolutely stunning here. It's only that necklace - too flashy, too distracting, so much NOT her style.

Pierre, u know Kim's lips were soo popular in Italy in 80's 90's, i thought a lot of girls started to get those ingections to get there lips bigger because Kim trew the Trend. PS i saw few new Photos on kw.com forum Kim promoting Here & Now TOUR, she looks absolutly Stunning. Im listening now to Just Another Guy record i think im loving it

 Dancing in the dark was a VERY big hit in Denmark. It got to no. 3 and everyone loved it! I like this performance...

 Song and performance is not so impressive, even the way she looks.

 This isn't my favorite of Kim's dance tunes, yet I like listening to it when I'm hitting More of the Best (Catch as Catch Can isn't easily caught unless you have a few hudred buck to bid on E-bay!). Nice, energetic performance. That pretty necklace keeps catching my eye, and I'm not even into jewelry. I like shiny things--even tin foil! LOL!

 I have totally mixed feelings about this song. When listening to it carefully, there's no particular reason why I should actually love it, yet it's always a pleasure.. I feel Nile Rodgers could have provided a better remix of it, though; he didn't seem terribly inspired with this one!

 I absolutely adore the RAK years. Unfortunately, this happens to be the song I like the least from that period - compared to the other songs she released back then, I've always found it - although not outright bad - a bit bland and uninspired. Still, any video from these days is guaranteed to catch my attention and this is no exception! Kim's looking great as always!

 Ooh very sparkly 80s disco! Is this supposed to be a video or what? I'm not sure. She looks very slim here and I do love this song, but it does remind me of the beginning of a school disco, you know before anyone's really got there and only a handfulof people are brave enough to get up and dance.
