 yeah, this is one of the classic gold era video of the 80s. I am happy these videos exists to always have nce better windows to the good events in life.

 Reading all comments about this song,Steve,I had ever read in a fanclub magazine what you say,that you were supposed to sing this one with Kim but you didn't feel confident.I discover you say you've got a copy with you singing,did you find it now and if yes,will we have the chance to hear it one day?Or is this still here hidden somewhere on KWTV?

 I can't help associating the forthcoming gig in Paris to this song:Another step nearer your heart,another step closer to knowing you,another step nearer your heart,i'm on my way.I'm always listening to it these days. Kim is all cute and i love Junior's voice,i remember Mama used to say,song that i also love.

 to me this is my least favorite Kim Wilde year and album. this is my least favorite Kim song.

 Cant say my arrival in London was as glamorous as Kims! Everyone kept talking to me like I was sooooooooo stupid too! In the middle of little bus tour darlings!

 Hot Hot, its very lovely now and then sucked in to the past funny enough looks good for a future... AND -Thats how i am going to Walk in when my plain will arrive to London in few days :)

 that was a beautiful video!! I can't get enough of it. Vocals are amazing, and Kim is gorgeous and care-free. She and Junior make a great pair for the song. It's about love, it's pure and innocent and maybe a little cheesy but it works. This is definitely one of my favortie Kim songs, maybe along with Cambodia. Thanks for having it here!!! :)

 Wow! Definitely one of Kim´s best videos! I like specially the first part when she´s walking with all those photographers around her!!! She looks great!

 Well this is the biggest scoop of all times. I'd give my jacket, trousers and more -but only in private with Lisa- to listen to this jewel!

 Oh I forgot my original purpose with this was to tell that I sang the duet originally,but had no confidence in my voice,I'de never sung lead vocal,harmonies on all Kims tracks I played on but lead scared me.I have a copy of it but as my wife left me this year I don't know where any of my things are.Typical man,I only discovered my toothbrush today,but she'd hidden it in this weird little rack thing above the washbasin.How am I supposed to know that?

 This is cool,its Paris right?I never saw this as I was in NYC at that time and they didn't play Kim's music much there.Mind you we had a US number one with Hanging On so I guess they must have played her then, but I was back in the UK by then.I did play on the flip side of West End Girls by The Pet Shop Boys a track called A man Could Get Arrested,wonder what that was about.hmmm,so I sort of played on two US number ones.Anyway back to Kim.She looks great as usual.Junior looks just that,like a Junior.He's onle about 1.3 metres tall you know.His nephew is the leading black tv presenter in the UK now Richard something,I don't really watch tv just listen to music and meditate,or go down the pub.I would have liked the director to edit Kims walking in the airport,as she walks totally out of time to the track.This makes me feel dizzy.As a musician being out of time is only slightly better than being out of tune,that makes me feel ill if I hear that and I have to get away from it. So yet another first for me from Pierre's wonderful website.

 Ohh Finally this video is just awsome and so as song, i was in Moscow at that time 1988 and they showd remember Kim participated in "Let it Be" Charity song, Paul McCartney was hosting and each artist were showing there personal videos and "Another step " was Kim's it was my 3rd video that i ve seen of hers, totally blew me away she introduced Pop-a Class. not overdone but yet not too little it was just perfect. My friend Ricky here in NYC (US) still does those steps he tells me everytime he has to clim steps he sings Another Step CLOSER to you dada da...

 I can remember seeing this video on Top Of The Pops when I was 5! Me and my sister use to dance to it and I always thought that they were so cool. And I still do now. I do like this song and version, but it is probably one of my least favourite singles. I love the way in which she's being such a diva at the beginning of the video with that scarf and those glasses!

 Oh, look, I am the first one to rate a clip for once! :) Well, anyway, Another Step is hardly one of my favourite songs. Too mainstream for me back then, and I suppose that in many ways it still is. That being said, the video itself is quite good, actually. I'm not sure why the director decided to apply those weird, "shaky" effects to some scenes (basically those featuring Kim), but I suppose it's somewhat of the same approach Soderbergh took in "Traffic". However, it's well directed, well performed and Kimmy's looking really, really gorgeous in it :)
