What's with the 'it should have been released instead of 'Child Come Away' nonsense. Don't blame a brill song for this being overlooked, blame that bleeding Kids song that seems to take pride of place for everyone over her brilliantly dark, depressing, dreamy and futuristic 1982-1985 songs-which are many of her best! Blame EMI for only releasing 2 songs off the album-what WERE they thinking?! And 'Child Come Away' wasn't from the album anyway, though it has come much in common with in lyrically and musically.
Great mix-without the repeating echos, it could be the normal song-just longer, but then Kim's songs have always been too short. If only you could put this on the album too!

MM you are something else when it comes to mixing these old kim wilde songs, RELEASE a CD please :)

Wwwwoooowww, who did the art work for this! Magnific! I think Kim would make a fantastic hysterical blonde in Alfred Hitchcock classic. Perhaps a remake, no? Think she'd be gread because I love the way Kim runs in heals ie You Came video clip and Hey Mr. Heartache!

Dr Marc, with your cool summer rmx of this classic track you made me feel alive again! I've been dancing thru the whole room... (I don't know if I can do this in Ireland, by the way) ... just love it - it's amazing!!!
Wish it was released back then as a single instead of "Child come away" !!! even I love both tracks very much !!!
HOPE YOU KEEP UP WITH YOUR GREAT WORK !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You have always something in your hat, Mr MM. Are you a wizard? Action City is not my fav on Select, but i have to say, this remix make it up with the song. And i'm very curious to know how did you discover Kim? You were so young around Select, no? (maybe not born)? Once again, bravo.

I must say - this is a work of art. If the track had been a single, this could well have been the extended version of the song!
Congratulations!!!

This is the work of a genius, really impressive I think. Great to hear this track again (it's been a while) in a new fresh version.

Well, Dr Marc, this is one of the tracks I like the least on Select. I know, it's shocking, I "should" worship everything on Select :P Still, "like the least" when it comes to Select basically means "likes a great deal" in most other circumstances. Nice and very suitable vocal echo effects there and the overdubbed beat sounds very natural. Quite a nice break in particular (reviewing this more or less in real-time :P). Once again, you have managed to make things sound like an extended, and good, remix. Great work!

As always I'm fan of your work. Lovely mix this one, more uptempo and I love the echo from the vocals. Can we download your remixes somewhere? Marc? Pierre?

Thanks to Marc's new medication, a magic potion, this old song lives again. It breathes again and it rocks again. Marc, you're not a doctor, you're a miracle worker.
I love the bitterness in the line: It's a brave new world, such a brave new world... a true classic.
